SPINNING AND STAMPING

Small Parts Or Large - Soft Metals Or Hard - Precision Wire Products Can Handle Your Toughest Jobs

Our experienced craftsmen use modern, up-to-date equipment to spin parts from a super-small .250" to a huge 72" diameter - working with the softest aluminums and the hardest Inconels or Titaniums - at tolerances that often need to be within +/- .002".

The Spinning Equipment To Make It Happen

Our facility features a full complement of conventional metal-spinning lathes plus some additional, specialized equipment to help us meet your requirements on more unusual jobs.

Our large capacity spinning lathe with hydraulic assist tackles big jobs (up to a huge 72" diameter) that few other spinners can handle ... while our CNC lathe makes quick work of spinning HR or CR steels up to .250" thick and stainless up to .125".

Five Great Reasons to consider metal spinning:

  1. Lower Tooling Costs - Conventional casting or stamping dies are expensive. Spinning dies are simpler & less costly.
  2. Shorter lead times - Spinning tooling can be made in-house with less time for development and quicker turnaround.
  3. Simplified design changes - In most cases, spinning tooling can be modified in-house to meet simple design changes without starting over.
  4. Improved tensile strength - The spinning process often work-hardens the product as it's being shaped.
  5. Wide range of finished part sizes - From a fraction of an inch to over 6 feet in diameter, metal spinning offers a tremendous size range.
